Bayern Munich are closing in on the signing of Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The left-back is keen to join the Bundesliga champions from Frankfurt and has agreed terms, though the two teams remain locked in negotiations over a fee.
Brown had been tracked by Manchester United and Arsenal in recent months, with both admirers of the four-cap Germany international.
He has been included in Julian Nagelsmann’s squad for this summer’s World Cup after a standout domestic campaign in Germany.
The 22-year-old led the Bundesliga for tackles won in 2025/26, while scoring four goals and providing four assists. Sky Germany are reporting that Frankfurt are demanding a fee of €60m (£52m) for the defender, a valuation that represents a sticking point at present.
Manchester United are keen to sign a left-back to compete with Luke Shaw and are currently considering an offer for Newcastle’s Lewis Hall.
