Another update for the Power Rankings as the season rapidly draws to its conclusion, with silverware success for PSG and Inter headlining this week’s edition.
10. RB Leipzig 🆕
RB Leipzig booked their place in next season’s Champions League with a 2-1 win over St Pauli.
The German side has stormed down the final straight to seal a return to Europe, winning eight of their last 10 in the Bundesliga. A welcome return to the big time, after last season’s blip.
9. Juventus 🆕
Another side edging closer to Champions League football is Juventus. A narrow win at Lecce, scored after just 10 seconds, leaves the Old Lady in pole position.
Serie A’s top-four race is impossibly close, however, with a point between third-placed Juventus and Roma in fifth. There’s still work to be done.
8. Manchester United
(Last week: 7th)
Michael Carrick’s objective at Manchester United was completed with Champions League qualification last week, so it can perhaps be forgiven that his side stuttered a little at Sunderland. A goalless draw was uninspiring, but it shouldn’t stop Carrick from getting the permanent gig.

7. Real Madrid
(Last week: 6th)
Real Madrid will want to put this week firmly behind them. Fighting between teammates, a bizarre petition against Kylian Mbappe, Florentino Perez’s bombshell interview, and an El Clásico defeat that gift-wrapped the title to Barcelona.
It’s been a bad one.
6. Inter Milan
(Last week: 8th)
From agony to ecstasy. Inter Milan have been Italy’s finest team this season and completed a domestic double with a 2-0 win over Lazio in the Coppa Italia. The win sealed the Nerazzurri’s first domestic double in 16 years, in Cristian Chivu’s first season in charge.

5. Manchester City ↔️
Manchester City are not allowing Arsenal any room to breathe in this title race. Successive 3-0 wins over Brentford and Crystal Palace have swung the goal difference battle in their favour, and ensured Arsenal know there’s no room to error. This one is going down to the wire.
4. Barcelona ↔️
It’s party time in Catalonia. Back-to-back La Liga titles were assured on Sunday in the sweetest of ways. A 2-0 win over Real Madrid in El Clásico put the final nail in the title coffin of their eternal enemy.
And what about that Marcus Rashford free-kick? Some strike.
3. Arsenal ↔️
Wow, wow, wow. Arsenal’s win at West Ham was one of the most dramatic conclusions to any game, anywhere, this season.
After Leandro Trossard’s late goal, West Ham hauled themselves level in stoppage time. A long VAR check eventually disallowed the goal, as Arsenal were let off the hook.
The title destination remains in their hands.
2. Bayern Munich ↔️
Another week, another Bundesliga win, another Michael Olise wonder goal. Sums up Bayern’s season, this one.

1. Paris Saint-Germain ↔️
Ligue 1 is in the bag for another season after PSG won at nearest challengers Lens to end their surprise challenge. A stubborn Lens side has fought well all season, but this PSG team is seriously good. A second straight Champions League triumph is next in their sights.
