Tottenham Hotspur have given themselves a fighting chance of avoiding relegation after a 2-1 win at Aston Villa on Sunday.
Goals from Conor Gallagher and Richarlison lifted Spurs out of the relegation places, with only three games to go. The win followed a 1-0 victory at Wolves, with Roberto De Zerbi ending the club’s long winless run with back-to-back wins.
The club’s form on the road might just keep them in the division, with only two teams in the Premier League having picked up more away points than the North Londoners.
A difficult season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been the major factor in their struggles, with Spurs boasting the joint-worst home record, alongside relegated Burnley.
Spurs have won just twice in front of their own fans in 2025/26, and have won only 29% of their Premier League points in the capital.
The Premier League teams who have won the most away points in 2025/26
=5. Manchester United, Chelsea, and Everton – 25 points
Manchester United, Chelsea, and Everton are all tied on 25 points won in away games this season, having all played 17 fixtures away from home.
For Manchester United, it marks a massive improvement on last season’s fortunes. The Red Devils won just 18 points from their 19 away games in 2024/25. Their 25 points won so far also betters their home total from 2024/25 (24), after a record-low finish in the Premier League era.
Everton have also bettered last season’s haul and boast one of the best away records in the league, despite currently sitting in the bottom half. Their away results include a win at Old Trafford in the Premier League for only the second time since 1992.
3. Tottenham Hotspur – 26 points
Tottenham’s weekend win at Aston Villa saw Spurs leapfrog those teams into third for away points won, albeit having played a game more. The North Londoners are another side that have massively improved on the road. Only the three relegated teams had worse away records than Spurs last season.
2. Manchester City – 31
Manchester City sit second, having won 31 points in away games. The Cityzens need to improve that record to remain in a neck-and-neck title race with Arsenal. Pep Guardiola’s side travel to Everton and Bournemouth before the season’s end.
1. Arsenal – 32
Arsenal edge out their title rivals for away points won. The Gunners have lost just three times on the road in the Premier League this season, each by a one-goal margin. Arsenal’s away defeats all came against top-five sides, losing to Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Man City.
