FA Cup quarter-final draw, dates and TV channel

We now know the matchups for the quarter-finals of this season’s FA Cup after the draw was conducted on Monday evening.

The headline fixture will pit Manchester City against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium. City have reached the last three finals in a row, but have lost the two most recent ones, while Liverpool last lifted the trophy in 2022.

Port Vale’s fairytale run to the last eight has earned them a trip to Stamford Bridge, where they will face Chelsea. The Midlands outfit, which has never played in the top flight of English football, are looking to pull off another shock after beating Sunderland, and reach the semi-finals for the first time in 72 years.

Southampton will welcome Arsenal to St. Mary’s Stadium after they too eliminated Premier League opposition, narrowly defeating Fulham at Craven Cottage thanks to a late penalty. The Gunners remain in contention for four trophies as they look to pick up major silverware for the first time since winning the FA Cup in 2020.

Lastly, West Ham will host Leeds in a battles of the Uniteds after winning a penalty shootout against Brentford. The Whites eased past Norwich City to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 2003.
