West Ham winger in line for first Netherlands call-up

Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Crysencio Summerville could be included in the national squad for the first time later this month.

Summerville has been in good form for West Ham in the Premier League to aid the club’s battle to avoid relegation. The Dutchman has scored five goals in his last eight appearances, including the winner at Fulham last weekend.

The 24-year-old’s performances have not gone unnoticed with Koeman revealing that the national side are keeping a close eye on Summerville.

He said the winger, who has represented the Netherlands up to u-21 level, could be included in the squad to face Norway and Ecuador in friendlies later this month, as the Oranje build towards the 2026 World Cup.

“A call for Crysencio Summerville this month is possible,” Koeman said.

“Summerville is in great form at West Ham. He’s an important player in the Premier League, can play on both wings and we’re watching him closely”.
