Before the game, Niko Kovac explained that Emre Can came through his recent return without issues and is “ready to play”, so Dortmund should have their captain available.

Yan Couto and Daniel Svensson will play as the wing-backs with Jobe Bellingham and Felix Nmecha in central midfield, and the trio of Karim Adeyemi, Julian Brandt and Serhou Guirassy will lead the attack.
