Rennes teenager Mohamed Kader Meite has reached an agreement to sign for Al-Hilal.
Al-Hilal have agreed a fee of around €30m to sign the 18-year-old, who has scored three goals in 17 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
Chelsea and Manchester United had both tracked the teenager this season but are now set to miss out to Al-Hilal.
The West Londoners had been particularly proactive in their pursuit, having held talks with Rennes over deals for Kader Meite and teammate Jeremy Jacquet.
Chelsea remain keen to sign the latter before Monday’s deadline but have so far failed to meet the £55m+ asking price of the French side.
Kader Meite has, however, chosen a move to the Saudi Pro League over English football, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the forward views Al-Hilal and working with Simone Inzaghi as the ‘ideal step’ in his career.

The Frenchman is due to undergo a medical with the Saudi side before signing a long-term contract.
