Paul Scholes has questioned the strength of Arsenal’s attack and says no Gunners forward would make it into a Premier League Team of the Season.
Arsenal lead the Premier League title race by four points, but have seen their challenge stumbled after three consecutive games without a win.
The North Londoners boast the league’s best defensive record, but question marks persist over their forward threat.
Just three teams have had a greater reliance on set-piece goals than Arsenal in the Premier League this season, while the club’s joint-leading league scorers – Viktor Gyokeres and Leandro Trossard – have netted just five Premier League goals.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast, the former Manchester United midfielder said Arsenal lack top talent in the final third.

“If you’re thinking of picking a team of the season and picking the front four, nobody from the Arsenal team gets in that,” Scholes said.
“Look at previous champions – Liverpool’s forwards, brilliant. Possibly the only one is Saka, and I don’t think he’s been brilliant. He’s not scored many goals this year or assists.”
