Wolves XI vs Manchester United – Predicted lineup and team news

Wolves head to Manchester United this evening aiming to avoid more unwanted history.

Rob Edwards’ side are yet to win in the Premier League this season and have set a new record after going 18 games from the start of the season without winning.

Wolves have won just two points, with fears around Molineux about eclipsing Derby County’s infamous 11-point record as the Premier League’s worst-ever side. Already 16 points from safety, already-thin survival hopes are fading fast.

Wolves team news

Wolves’ bid for a first Premier League win is not helped by notable absentees. Defensive regulars Emmanuel Agbadou and Toti Gomes are each absent on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations. Tawanda Chirewa is also at the tournament with Zimbabwe.

They’re joined on the missing list by Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, sidelined by a hamstring injury, and Mashall Munetsi, who has a calf complaint. Daniel Bentley and Rodrigo Gomes are also ruled out.

Wolves could again look to teenager Mateus Mane for a spark. The 18-year-old was a positive performer in the 2-1 defeat at Liverpool last time out.

Wolves predicted lineup

Wolves predicted XI: Sa; Mosquera, S. Bueno, Krejci; Doherty, J. Gomes, Andre, H. Bueno; Hwang, Mane; Arokodare.

When will the match kick off?

The fixture will take place at Old Trafford on Tuesday 30th December 2025. Kick-off is 20:15 GMT.

How to watch Manchester United vs Wolves

The match will be broadcast on Sky Sports in the UK.
