Raul Jimenez put himself into the record books on Monday night with his latest Premier League goal against Nottingham Forest.Â
The Fulham striker broke the deadlock at Craven Cottage to put the hosts ahead deep into first-half stoppage time when he converted from the spot.
The successful penalty maintains the Mexican’s immaculate record from twelve yards out; he has scored all 11 of his attempts in the Premier League.
That puts him level with Manchester City legend Yaya Toure for the most penalties scored without missing one in the Premier League, with both men the only players to boast a 100 per cent conversion rate after taking ten or more penalties.
The goal turned out to be a crucial one as Fulham went on to beat Forest 1-0, taking them up to 13th in the table.
Raul Jimenez matches Yaya Toure record for most penalties scored without missing in Premier League:
=1. Raúl Jiménez – 11
=1. Yaya Toure – 11
3. Dimitar Berbatov – 9
=4. Ruben Neves – 8
=4. Chris Wood – 8
