Manchester United and Inter Milan are reportedly in talks with the representatives of Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, over a potential move.
Adeyemi is understood to be unsettled at Dortmund amid a strained relationship with head coach Niko Kovac.
The Dortmund manager recently criticised Adeyemi following an angry reaction to being substituted during the club’s Bundesliga clash with Koln last month. Clubs are now enquiring about his availability with Manchester United among the player’s suitors.
German outlet BILD are reporting that Ruben Amorim’s side are prepared to battle Inter Milan for Adeyemi’s signature.
The 23-year-old has just 18 months to run on his deal in Dortmund and there is a belief that that situation, alongside his fallout with Kovac, could see a deal struck.
Adeyemi, who has scored 29 goals in 123 games for Dortmund, can operate off either flank or as a central striker.
Interest in the forward from Manchester United could accelerate with Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo set to depart for the Africa Cup of Nations next month.
