Juventus have been frustrated in contract renewal talks with Kenan Yildiz, with Premier League clubs monitoring the situation.
Juventus want to tie down the winger to a new long-term deal and are prepared to make Yildiz the second-highest paid player at the club, in reflection of his increasing importance.
Negotiations are yet to find a breakthrough and Europe’s top teams are keeping tabs on the discussions.
Italian journalist Massimo Mauro recently cast doubt on a renewal, offering encouragement to clubs including Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Yildiz scored 12 goals in all competitions last season to earn inclusion in the Serie A Team of the Year. He has started the current campaign in similarly impressive form, recording five goal involvements in 10 league games.
Juventus are under no immediate pressure to sell, given the length of the player’s contract. His current deal is due to expire in 2029.
However, Yildiz and his representatives are seeking a deal that is reflective of his status as one of Europe’s best young talents. His current salary is dwarfed by teammates including Dusan Vlahovic and summer signing Jonathan David.
