Everton are in talks to sign reported Chelsea and Liverpool target Malick Fofana.
Fofana is expected to leave Lyon this summer after a breakthrough season in France. The 20-year-old scored 11 goals and provided five assists in all competitions, while ranking among Ligue 1’s top players for progressive carries.

Chelsea and Liverpool are understood to be admirers of Fofana, with the latter reportedly considering an approach should Luis Diaz leave this summer. Nottingham Forest have also pursued a deal for Fofana this summer.
Everton are now keen to win the race and seal his signing, and discussions are underway with Lyon.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that an official offer has been submitted for the Belgium international, while discussions over personal terms are underway. David Moyes is desperate to add to his threadbare squad and Fofana is seen as an ideal addition.
The Toffees are also closing in on the signing of Adam Aznou from Bayern Munich. A deal worth an initial €9m has been agreed for the 19-year-old left-back, who will provide competition for Vitalii Mykolenko.
Aznou is understood to have given his approval to the transfer to Merseyside.
