Alexander Isak has not travelled with Newcastle United for the club’s pre-season tour to Singapore.
Newcastle have named their travelling squad for the trip and Isak’s name is absent from the list. The Magpies have said Isak’s absence is a precautionary measure due to a slight thigh issue.

Lewis Hall is available for Newcastle following an injury lay-off and could feature in South Korea. The Magpies take on Arsenal and a K-League XI in the Far East.
Isak’s absence comes amid transfer speculation surrounding the Sweden international this summer.
Liverpool informed Newcastle of their interest in signing Isak earlier this month and communicated a willingness to pay a £120m British record fee for the player. Eddie Howe’s side have insisted that Isak is not for sale.
Despite completing the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike on Wednesday, Liverpool remain interested in a deal if Newcastle indicate a willingness to sell.
