Mikel Arteta has said Arsenal are still ‘seeking’ more signings as he looks to add depth and quality to his squad.
The Gunners have concluded four deals so far this summer, brining in Kepa Arrizabalaga and Noni Madueke from London rivals Chelsea, alongside completed deals for midfield duo Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard.

An announcement is expected imminently for Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, while discussions are ongoing to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon.
Arteta suggested Arsenal will not be done there, amid reports the North Londoners want to add further creativity to their squad. A move for Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze has been mooted, alongside the potential signing of a left-winger.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Arsenal’s pre-season friendly with AC Milan on Wednesday, Arteta said the Gunners are working hard behind the scenes to secure more arrivals.
“There’s still a long time in the window, and we are seeking. In terms of numbers, we are short, and we have to improve the depth and the quality of the squad.
“We are constantly looking in the market, but until that happens, I can focus on the players that we actually have, work with them, and I’m very pleased with what I’ve seen so far in the first 10-15 days.”
