Atletico Madrid have announced they have come to agreement over the transfer of Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan.
Gaitan, who is a long standing target of Manchester United, will move to the Vicente Calderon stadium after the completion of Argentina’s Copa America campaign.
The 28-year old has recently agreed a contract extension at Benfica until 2019, but has now agreed a deal to move to the Champions League finalists.
The clubs are believed to have agreed a €25million deal (£19.7million) to take the 28-year old Argentinian midfielder to the La Liga club.
