Bologna vs Inter Milan
Inter Milan are edging towards another Serie A title but the Nerazzurri have little room for error, with Napoli breathing down their neck. The champions face arguably their toughest remaining league assignment this weekend, with a trip to face Champions League-chasing Bologna.
Inter (1st) and Bolonga (3rd) are two of the top-ranked teams in Italy’s form table across the last six games and both sides are in need of maximum points.

Borussia Dortmund vs Borussia Monchengladbach
There’s a six-pointer in the chase for European qualification at The Westfalenstadion this weekend.
Borussia Dortmund’s disappointing domestic campaign leaves last season’s Champions League finalists in eighth, two points and one place behind visitors Borussia Monchengladbach. Neither side has quite given up hopes of a top-four finish and Champions League qualification, but defeat this weekend could be catastrophic to either’s hopes.
Serhou Guirassy, scorer of a midweek hat-trick against Barcelona in Europe, will be key to Dortmund’s hopes.

Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao
Fresh from their Champions League elimination against Arsenal, Real Madrid meet Athletic Bilbao in La Liga. With a four-point gap to leaders Barcelona, the Spanish champions can not afford to drop points.
It’s a monumental week in Real Madrid’s season. The clash with Athletic Bilbao precedes a midweek derby at Getafe and next weekend’s Copa del Rey final with Barcelona. Carlo Ancelotti needs a response.

The visitors enjoyed far better fortunes in Europe in the week. A 2-0 win over Rangers booked Athletic a Europa League semi-final against Manchester United. With the final due to be held at their own San Mames Stadium, there’s added incentive for success.
First, however, are important league commitments. Fourth in the table, Champions League qualification is in sight. However, a stubborn Villarreal side are right behind them in the rear-view mirror.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle United
Two of the form teams in Europe meet in a clash of high stakes at Villa Park.
Aston Villa have won nine of their last 10 in all competitions and beat Paris Saint-Germain in a valiant, if unsuccessful, attempt to turn around their Champions League quarter-final tie in midweek.
