Bruno Fernandes has praised Cole Palmer following his hat-trick for Chelsea this weekend.
The Manchester United captain posted a comment under Palmer’s social media post, expressing his admiration for the Chelsea midfielder.
Palmer scored a hat-trick on Saturday as Chelsea won 3-1 at Wolves. In doing so, the 23-year-old became the first player in Premier League history to have scored three first-half hat-tricks. He’s also now scored more Premier League hat-tricks for Chelsea (4) than any other player.
Palmer’s performance – and Fernandes’ praise – comes amid recent speculation that Manchester United are interested in a deal to sign the England international.
Palmer came through the academy system at Manchester City and there have been reports of late that the Chelsea talisman would be open to a return to Manchester.

Fernandes, it appears, would be delighted if that move materialised.
