West Ham are set to continue their transfer spree this month with interest in signing Charlie Cresswell from Toulouse.
Having agreed deals to sign Pablo Felipe from Gil Vicente and Valentín Castellanos from Lazio to bolster their forward line, the Hammers want to bring in an additional centre-back.
Cresswell has emerged as a target for the East Londoners, following his impressive performances for club and country.
The 23-year-old was a key part of the England u-21 side that defended the European Championship last summer, and earned 26 caps for the Young Lions at that age group.
He was named in the Team of the Tournament following that triumph and also claimed a winner’s medal when England won the 2023 edition.
Cresswell joined Toulouse from Leeds United in 2024 and has since made 48 league appearances for the French side, scoring six times.

This season, he ranks second in Ligue 1 for aerial duels won (73) and is also among the league leaders for clearances (2nd) and blocks (8th).
According to The Guardian, West Ham will push to sign the centre-back this month to boost their survival hopes. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are currently 18th in the Premier League and four points from safety.
