Tottenham Hotspur have turned their attention to a move for Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
The North Londoners had expressed interest in signing Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, but have cooled that pursuit amid rival interest from Arsenal.

Gibbs-White has now emerged as an alternative with the 25-year-old a player that Thomas Frank hugely admires, according to The Athletic.
Manchester City approached Nottingham Forest about a deal for Gibbs-White earlier in the transfer window but turned to alternatives amid a high asking price.
Forest are close to selling Anthony Elanga to Newcastle United for a £55m fee and that sale will strengthen their negotiating position on Gibbs-White. The midfielder is contracted at the City Ground until 2027 and Forest are under no pressure to sell.
Gibbs-White broke into the England squad last season amid an outstanding campaign for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side. He scored seven times in the Premier League and added eight assists as Forest secured European football for the first time since 1995.
However, a move to North London would provide Gibbs-White a chance to compete in the Champions League and strengthen his England ambitions ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
After a slow start to the summer, Spurs are stepping up their efforts to improve the squad. Mathys Tel has joined permanently from Bayern Munich, while an agreement has been reached to sign Mohammed Kudus. The Ghana international is closing in on a £55m move to Spurs from West Ham.
