Tottenham Hotspur want to make West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus the first major signing of the Thomas Frank era.
Negotiations between the London rivals have taken place with the Ghana international a top target for Spurs.
Kudus is keen on the move to North London, with the 24-year-old expressing interest in leaving West Ham for a European side. Spurs can offer the winger Champions League football for next season.

Kudus impressed during his debut season at West Ham after arriving from Ajax in 2023. He scored 14 goals in all competitions, including the club’s Goal of the Season with a stunning individual effort against Freiburg in the Europa League.
Last season he struggled to replicate that form as West Ham slumped to a 14th-place finish. He netted just five times in the Premier League.
The Daily Telegraph are reporting that Tottenham have turned to Kudus as an alternative to Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, who has indicated his preference for Manchester United. West Ham, meanwhile, are open to selling Kudus for the right fee with the Hammers in need of sales to fund their transfer business.
The potential deal would be the first transfer between the fierce rivals since Scott Parker’s move to Tottenham from West Ham in 2011.
In addition to Mbeumo, Spurs have also shown interest in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze and Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo to boost their options. However, as things stand, a deal for Kudus looks the likeliest new arrival.
