Televised FA Cup third-round ties confirmed

The FA Cup third round is one of English football’s most anticipated weekends, as top-flight teams join the competition.

The draw for the third round was made earlier this week and there are some cracking ties, of which eight will be televised in a bumper weekend of action.

To little surprise, Manchester United’s date with Brighton on January 11th is among those selected, as is Wrexham’s clash with Nottingham Forest on Friday January 9th. Holders Crystal Palace will also be televised in the third round when the Eagles travel to non-league Macclesfield.

TNT Sports have secured rights to the FA Cup this season, alongside the traditional BBC coverage of the competition.
