Antoine Semenyo had a Manchester City debut to remember after starring during the club’s FA Cup win over Exeter City at the Etihad.
Semenyo completed his £62.5m move from Bournemouth on Friday before being thrust straight into the starting side for the FA Cup third-round tie.
City produced a dominant performance to thrash the League One side 10-1, becoming the first top-flight team since 1986 to score 10+ goals in a competitive fixture.
Semenyo earned the man of the match honour, after opening his Manchester City account with a goal and adding an assist after teeing up Rico Lewis.
The 26-year-old’s dream debut saw him become the first player to both score and assist on debut for the Citizens since Sergio Aguero.

The Argentine was the last to achieve the feat, when making his first appearance for the club against Swansea City in August 2011.
If Semenyo can come even close to matching Aguero’s record-breaking feats in a Manchester City shirt, his big-money fee will be deemed a bargain. The January signing is up and running.
