Our Premier League awards celebrate the best – and worst – of the weekend’s top-flight football, featuring Ollie Watkins and Patrick Dorgu.
Moment of the Week
There was a touching moment this weekend ahead of the meeting between Liverpool and Wolves at Anfield.
Ahead of the clash between Diogo Jota’s former Premier League clubs, the late Jota’s children and family members walked out alongside Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk, in celebration of his memory.
Jota’s tragic passing, alongside his brother Andre, is an incident that shook football far further than the club’s he represented. Liverpool, Wolves, and his other former clubs, continue to ensure his memory lives on.

Player of the Week
Ollie Watkins has not had the easiest start to the season but this week delivered in style for Aston Villa. Watkins was named on the bench for the club’s crunch clash at Chelsea, with Donyell Malen preferred at centre-forward.
The former had scored just three times in the Premier League before this weekend, and was dropped from the England squad in November as a result. He emphatically sent a message to both Unai Emery and Thomas Tuchel on Saturday evening, after scoring twice in Aston Villa’s comeback win at The Bridge.
Watkins’ double extended Aston Villa’s winning run to a club record 11 games across all competitions. The title charge might just be on.

Goal of the Week
Ruben Amorim reshuffled his deck at Manchester United this weekend, abandoning his three-man backline and tweaking his team among absences.
Patrick Dorgu demonstrated his versatility in style, moving from his regular left wing-back role to the right-hand side of attack. The Denmark international produced an impressive performance, capped by a first Manchester United goal. Dorgu won’t hit many better than this, lashed in to secure a 1-0 win over Newcastle at Old Trafford.

Save of the Week
A special, special save.
There are not many goalkeepers in world football who could make this save, but fortunately for Arsenal, David Raya ranks among the very best in the game right now. The Spaniard was at full stretch to deny Yankuba Minteh and add another super save to his catalogue.

Stat of the Week
The evergreen James Milner continue to defy time at Brighton.
Just an age gap of two decades between the Brighton midfielder and Arsenal opponent Marli Salmon during this weekend’s clash at the Emirates.
23 – There’s an age gap of 23 years and 237 days between substitutes Marli Salmon and James Milner in today’s game between Arsenal and Brighton. The day after Salmon was born in August 2009, Milner was already making the 208th Premier League appearance of his career. Extremes. pic.twitter.com/aZDn4nlNoj

A week to forget for…
Enzo Maresca. Chelsea appeared in complete control against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, with the visitors struggling to create clear-cut chances. While Unai Emery improved his team with a triple change on the hour, Maresca’s response – a triple substitution of his own – saw Chelsea become weaker.
With the momentum shifted, Ollie Watkins scored twice for Villa to send them 10 points clear of their beaten opponents. Chelsea, now out of the top four, face a battle for Champions League football.
