Ange Postecoglou says he is unconcerned by speculation surrounding his future at Nottingham Forest.
Postecoglou is winless since replacing Nuno Espirito Santo as head coach of Forest last month, with the Australian already under pressure to improve results.
Forest are 17th in the Premier League table as things stand, just a point above the relegation places.
Despite that, Postecoglu is confident he is the right man for the job. He called for patience with the project, insisting he always delivers trophies when given time to succeed.
“My first year at Tottenham was used as a reason for losing my job as even Tottenham decided that the first 10 games were an anomaly. But the first 10 games here are very important apparently,” he said ahead of facing Chelsea this weekend.
“I got them back into European football and was told in a meeting that winning a trophy means everything for this football club. We won the trophy.
“This is a different story to tell and maybe I am not a failed manager but one if you give time, the story always ends the same – with me and a trophy.”
