Ethan Nwaneri is ready to turn down a loan exit this month and stay at Arsenal, despite his lack of first-team football.
Nwaneri has not started a Premier League game this season and has totalled just 166 minutes of league action across six substitute appearances.
A number of top-flight rivals are weighing up loan approaches this month, with Bournemouth among those interested.

However, the teenager is ready to turn down a loan move in favour of fighting for his place. According to the Independent, Nwaneri believes competing for a place in Arsenal’s title-challenging team would be better for his development than regular senior football elsewhere.
Arsenal could move eight points clear at the top of the Premier League tonight if the North Londoners beat Liverpool at the Emirates.
There is a reluctance from Nwaneri to leave the club mid-season, in the midst of a potential title-winning season. Arsenal last won the Premier League title in 2003/04.
