Newcastle United continue their defence of the Carabao Cup with a fourth-round tie against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
The Magpies ended their long wait for silverware by winning this competition last season, and next face Spurs with a place in the 2025/26 quarter-finals at stake.
Both teams head into the contest buoyed by Premier League wins at the weekend.

Eddie Howe has to deal with several absentees, including summer signing Yoane Wissa who is yet to debut. The £55m recruit is, however, close to returning and a potential debut.
Full-back duo Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento are ruled out, so Dan Burn could continue to deputise at left-back. Elsewhere, Sven Botman is a doubt.

In terms of changes, William Osula could lead the line after an impressive weekend cameo against Fulham. The 22-year-old scored twice in the 4-1 win over Bradford City in the previous round. Osula’s inclusion could hand Nick Woltemade a much-needed rest.
Loanee Aaron Ramsdale is expected to replace Nick Pope in the Newcastle goal.
