Raul Jimenez is now one spot kick away from breaking the Premier League record for most penalties scored without missing.
The Fulham centre-forward stepped up from 12 yards out for the first time this season and converted to give the Cottagers a 1-0 home win over Nottingham Forest.
The Mexico international boasts an immaculate penalty record in the English top-flight, having scored from all 11 of his attempts.
Yaya Toure is the only other player who can say the same thing. Raul and the Manchester City legend are also the only players with a 100 per cent record from the spot after taking at least ten penalties in the Premier League. Forest striker Chris Wood is not too far off, having converted all eight of his attempts to date.
Chelsea star Cole Palmer did break the record in September 2024, but relinquished it when he missed his very next penalty later that season.
Jimenez will now have his sights set on getting to twelve and taking the record for himself. He will be very confident of doing so given he has only missed two of 39 attempts in his entire career.
The most Premier League penalties scored without ever missing:
1. Raúl Jiménez – 11
2. Yaya Toure – 11
3. Dimitar Berbatov – 9
=4. Chris Wood – 8
=4. Ruben Neves – 8
