James Maddison is prepared to snub interest from the top six and stay at Leicester this summer.
The midfielder is reported to be interesting several of the Premier League’s leading sides, with Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City having all been credited with an interest in the £60m-rated England U21 international.
Maddison enjoyed a superb first season at Leicester after joining in a £20m deal from Norwich last summer, creating more chances than any other player in the Premier League and contributing seven goals and seven assists.
Despite interest in him this summer, the Mail are reporting that the 22-year-old will reject the advances of the Premier League’s top six and stay with Leicester.
Maddison is said to have been impressed by the impact Brendan Rodgers has had as manager since joining Leicester earlier this year, whilst the report says the midfielder could also be persuaded to extend his contract with an improved deal.
