Juventus vs Torino – Predicted lineup and team news

Juventus are set to welcome their city rivals Torino to the Allianz Stadium this Saturday, aiming to continue their impressive unbeaten run in the Derby della Mole.

Since Luciano Spalletti took the helm, Juventus kicked off his reign with a promising 2-1 victory on the road against Cremonese, showcasing his tactical influence and renewed energy within the squad.

However, their momentum hit a bump midweek. They were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Sporting CP in the Champions League at Allianz Stadium. Despite the draw, Spalletti remains optimistic, praising his team’s determination and resilience as solid foundations for future matches.

Currently, Juventus sit in sixth place in Serie A, amassing 18 points from 10 games, trailing table-toppers Napoli by just four points—a testament to their status as serious contenders despite recent managerial changes.

On the injury front, Juventus received some positive updates concerning their attacking options. Kenan Yildiz, the 20-year-old Turkish winger who has been sidelined with a knee injury, is back to full training and is likely to feature in the starting lineup.

Yildiz missed Spalletti’s first game in charge at Cremonese but made a notable return during the Champions League draw with Sporting CP, where he showed his quality despite the team’s result.

Striker Dusan Vlahovic, Juventus’s key offensive asset, is also expected to be available after completing full training sessions. The Serbian forward was substituted early in the Sporting match due to a minor hamstring issue but has since recovered. Spalletti has lauded Vlahovic’s commitment and work ethic, confirming his central role in Juventus’ attacking framework.

Defensive challenges persist for Juventus. Lloyd Kelly remains sidelined as he battles a calf strain. Kelly is continuing independent training and facing a tough path to recovery in time for the derby. With fellow defenders Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal also unavailable due to injuries, Spalletti has creatively deployed Teun Koopmeiners as a left-sided centre-back—a move that paid off positively in their win against Cremonese.

Alongside Koopmeiners, Federico Gatti and Pierre Kalulu are expected to form the rest of the defensive trio, with Daniele Rugani as another option.
