Garnacho set for Man Utd exit as three Premier League clubs interested

Alejandro Garnacho will reportedly leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window, it has been decided.

The winger’s future at Old Trafford has been up in the air since the end of the season, with speculation ramping up after he was dropped for the Uefa Europa League final defeat to Spurs.

Garnacho hinted that he could leave the club immediately after the match, saying he will “see what happens” in the summer.

Garnacho set for Man Utd exit as Premier League clubs linked

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has seemingly confirmed the Argentina international is on his way out of Man Utd after both the player and club decided to “part ways”.

A move to another Premier League team is a “serious option” for Garnacho with three clubs said to be “keen” on signing the disgruntled attacker. Bayer Leverkusen and clubs in Serie A have already come “calling”.

Chelsea were reportedly interested in signing Garnacho in the January transfer window, a link which has since reemerged.

United manager Ruben Amorim reportedly told Garnacho to “find a new club” in May after their relationship disintegrated towards the end of the season.

The Portuguese tactician claimed “I don’t know what is going to happen” when asked about the player’s future ahead of their 2-0 win over Aston Villa on the final day of the Premier League campaign, although he did say “we have a plan” for the transfer window.

“We have an idea of the type of squad we want but now we focus on the game because we still have the last game, and we have time to address all these situations,” he said
