Galatasaray head to Juventus this evening aiming to secure their place in the Champions League’s Round of 16. The Turkish champions boast a healthy advantage, having thrashed Juventus 5-2 in the first leg.
Galatasaray have not reached the last 16 of the Champions League in over a decade, last achieving the feat in 2013-14.
Galatasaray team news
Victor Osimhen is a doubt for Galatasaray having missed the league defeat to Konyaspor at the weekend due to knee discomfort.
Osimhen’s absence had raised doubts over his availability for the trip to Turin, despite travelling with the squad. However, the Nigerian has attempted to ease concerns about his condition.
Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, he said: “My knee is fine, thank you. I have a little pain in my knee, that is the reason why I didn’t play the last league game, but thanks to the medical team, I am back with the squad and looking forward to facing Juve.”
