Football Manager 2024 has been released and players of the game have delved into the latest edition to start a new save.
The key to any successful save in Football Manager is recruitment, and signing bargains for your team is essential to building a winning side.
Following the release of Football Manager 2024, we’ve profiled five brilliant bargains who can be signed for next to nothing, with this group of talents all available for less than £10m.
Football Manager 2024: Best bargain signings:
Valentin Barco – Boca Juniors
One of the most eye-catching release clauses in Football Manager 2024 belongs to Valentin Barco, who can be picked up from Boca Juniors for a fee of just £8m at the start of your save.
Barco is a versatile left-sided player who is a natural at both left-midfield and left-back, offering in-game managers the option to mould the teenager to best serve their side.
He begins the game with solid stats of 15+ for agility, natural fitness, technique, flair, dribbling, vision and technique, though scores of six for strength and three for heading will concern those with plans to use the 19-year-old in a more defensive role.

That said, for £8m there are few better projects to develop.
Oumar Solet – Red Bull Salzburg
Oumar Solet has been a favourite of Football Manager players for several editions and remains a smart acquisition on the latest game. The Red Bull Salzburg centre-back can be signed for less than £10m and boasts a collection of attributes to shine for a side in a major European league.
The 23-year-old is solid across the board for key defensive attributes, scoring no lower than 13 for heading, marking, tackling, jumping reach, strength, pace, composure, anticipation and bravery. Solet might not have the same ceiling as previous editions of the game, but he’d be an astute addition for top-flight sides.
Roony Bardghji – FC Copenhagen
One of the leading wonderkids in recent Football Manager games, Roony Bardghji will again be a must-sign starlet in 2024.
The Swedish winger begins at FC Copenhagen, where he is currently enjoying a real-life breakthrough campaign with seven goals in 15 games in all competitions. In FM24, Bardghji – a left-footed winger with a preference for the right – has scores of 15+ for dribbling, determination, flair, natural fitness and agility, while healthy scores of 14 for first touch, long shots, balance and passing highlight the 17-year-old’s potential.

In our save, Bardghji signed for Paris Saint-Germain for just £9.5m in 2024/25. He proceeded to tear things up in Ligue 1, averaging no lower than 7.20 in four seasons with the Parisians.
Facundo Torres – Orlando City
Facundo Torres has attracted admiring glances from the European game since joining MLS, where the Uruguayan has starred for Orlando City.
Torres has scored 27 goals in 76 games for Orlando, primarily operating from a position on the left-wing. In FM24, he is capable of operating across the frontline and has strong stats for flair (17), first touch (16), dribbling (15), vision (14) and finishing (14).

Though no wonderkid at 23, he has the talent to thrive in your side for several seasons and is available for around £6.5m. There’s few better value-for-money deals out there.
Noah Atubolo – SC Freiburg
Goalkeepers tend to mature later than their outfield counterparts, but give Noah Atubolo some seasons of development and he’ll be among the best shot-stoppers in the game.
The 21-year-old can be picked up from Freiburg for a fee of around £10m, a bargain fee given his potential longevity in your side.
Barring initial high scores for reflexes (15), jumping reach (17), determination (16) and rushing out tendency (15), Atubolo’s scores appear underwhelming on first glance. Considered he won’t reach his peak for another five seasons however, there’s plenty to work with with the German u-21 international.
