Premier League clubs have already raided the Bundesliga for signings this summer. Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong have arrived in the door at Liverpool, while Leeds and Tottenham have also snapped up players from Germany’s top tier.
More might be on the way and we’ve profiled five Bundesliga players that Premier League clubs should consider signing.
Five Bundesliga players Premier League clubs should be interested in this summer
Nick Woltemade – Stuttgart
It’s not just a 6ft 6in frame that is making Nick Woltemade stand out. The German giant is the top scorer and assist provider at this summer’s u-21 European Championship. Woltemade has five goals and three assists in just three appearances, increasing the speculation surrounding his future.
It follows a breakout season at Stuttgart, where Woltemade scored 17 times in all competitions after arriving from Werder Bremen on a free transfer. He was the leading scorer in the DFB-Pokal as Stuttgart won the German Cup and combines towering height with fleet feet and deceptive agility.
Nick Woltemade continues his INSANE run of form for Germany U-21:

The 23-year-old ranked in the top four percent of forwards in Europe for successful take-ons per game last season. He’s a unique profile and one of increasing interest to recruiters.
Angelo Stiller – Stuttgart
Another member of Stuttgart’s DFB-Pokal-winning side and a player rapidly attracting interest. Angelo Stiller has been a crucial part of Stuttgart’s progress over the last two seasons, breaking into the Germany side and establishing a reputation as one of the Bundesliga’s best deep-lying midfielders.
The 24-year-old racked up eight assists for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga last season, while his ability to break lines from deep was evident.
He ranked in the top 1% of midfielders across Europe for progressive passes per 90 (9.93), while no midfielder aged u-25 completed more forward passes. Reservations remain over his defensive ability as a sole anchor, but few midfielders are as purposeful in possession. Coupled with set-piece threat, he’s on the radar of some of Europe’s top teams.
(U25) Midfielders with the most forward passes in the Top 5 Leagues ➡️
🇩🇪 761 — Angelo Stiller (Stuttgart, 24)
🇪🇸 670 — Pedri (Barcelona, 22)
🇫🇷 611 — Aurélien Tchouaméni (Real Madrid, 25)
🇧🇷 609 — Éderson (Atalanta, 25)
🇩🇰 575 — Mikkel Damsgaard (Brentford, 24)— DataMB (@DataMB_) June 13, 2025
Anton Stach – Hoffenheim
Anton Stach offers an alternative to teams in search of defensive midfield reinforcements. Stach has been a standout at Hoffenheim over the last two seasons and is an old-school style of midfield enforcer.
The two-cap Germany international is a huge presence at 6ft 4in and featured as both a defensive midfielder and centre-back last season.
He was among the leading 10% of Bundesliga midfielders for interceptions and percentage of dribblers tackled, while only Hoffenheim teammate Tom Bischof – who has since joined Bayern Munich – won more than his 151 defensive duels.
Hugo Ekitike – Eintracht Frankfurt
Eintracht Frankfurt are fighting to fend off interest from England in Hugo Ekitike. Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have all made enquiries for the French forward after an excellent season in Germany.
Ekitike scored 22 goals in all competitions last season and added 12 assists, emerging as one of the best u-23 forwards in Europe.
The 22-year-old combines a tall wiry strength with fantastic feet in tight spaces, ranking among Europe’s top-performing forwards for take-ons and progressive carries last season. While his finishing has room for improvement, Ekitike is part goalscorer and part chance facilitator. Frankfurt hope a €100m asking price can put off his suitors.
Hugo Ekitike has scored 35 and assisted 18 goals across the 6,409 minutes he has played in league football in his career to date. That’s 0.74 G/A p90.

Benjamin Sesko – RB Leipzig
Just as he was last summer, Benjamin Sesko is again being linked with the Premier League. Arsenal are hottest on the Slovenian striker and have held concrete talks with RB Leipzig, but no agreement has been reached as Arsenal chase an elusive number nine.
Sesko has forged a reputation as a fine goalscoring prospect, netting 39 times in 87 appearances for Leipzig.
His combination of 6ft 5in frame, pace, athletic leap and thunderous shooting has attracted Arsenal to the table. Though still just 22 and with room for growth, he has a profile that addresses areas of need in Mikel Arteta’s team.
