Eze says Arsenal ‘know what we’re capable of’ after Spurs win

Eberechi Eze said Arsenal ‘know what we’re capable of’ after extending their lead in the Premier League title race with a 4-1 win at Tottenham.

Arsenal eased to a North London derby success at Spurs with Eze scoring twice for the visitors. The 27-year-old followed his hat-trick in the reverse fixture with a brace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Viktor Gyokeres also scoring twice for Arsenal.

The win saw Arsenal bounce back from a poor run of recent results. A midweek draw at Wolves meant Arsenal had dropped points in five of their last seven league games, but a big win at Spurs has extended their advantage at the top.

Discussing the win, Eze said Arsenal are confident that the squad is good enough to win silverware this season.

“Today it’s worked out, we thank God for it. We put in a good performance. We did what we needed to do today, which was the main thing,” Eze said to Sky Sports.

“Yeah, for sure that’s the main thing (bouncing back from Wolves draw). We know what we’re capable of. We have to play games to dominate and to win and we’ve got the players in the team to do it. Important win for us and we keep going.

“I’m always trying to get in those positions to be ready and to find the space and to work hard to get those opportunities (to score). It takes a lot to get there and it’s worked out today.”
