The midfielder missed last weekend’s win at Spurs with an ankle injury but has trained this week. Palace have a near full-strength squad to choose from, with the exception of long-term absentees Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure.
Who partners Wharton in midfield appears an open battle. Will Hughes, Daichi Kamada and Jefferson Lerma are all options in the Palace engine room.
