Chelsea vs Brighton – Predicted lineup and team news

Chelsea host Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday in a crucial fixture as manager Enzo Maresca looks to get their Premier League season back on track.

While a midweek Carabao Cup win over Lincoln City provided some respite, back-to-back defeats against Bayern Munich and Manchester United have checked the team’s early-season momentum, and a positive result is needed.

The Blues can, however, draw huge confidence from their formidable record at Stamford Bridge. They are unbeaten in their last 12 home league games and have kept seven clean sheets in their last nine on their own patch. Returning to the comfort of their home ground provides the perfect opportunity to rediscover their best form.

Levi Colwill and Liam Delap remain on the long-term injury list. However, there is some positive news, as both Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia are closing in on a return and will face late fitness tests.
