Chelsea’s injury list remains extensive ahead of their clash with Brighton, with Enzo Maresca confirming Cole Palmer (groin) is out until after the international break. Defenders Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana, and Levi Colwill are also sidelined, along with Liam Delap. In better news, Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia have a chance to make the matchday squad for the first time this season, but will require a late assessment before a final decision is made. Robert Sanchez is suspended.

Brighton have been boosted by the return to fitness of four players, with Mats Wieffer, Maxim De Cuyper, Brajan Gruda, and Yankuba Minteh all available for selection.
