Liam Delap has said he relishes the aggressive side of the game and does not want to change his style after signing for Chelsea.
Delap has joined Chelsea in a £30m deal from Ipswich Town, after scoring 12 Premier League goals last season despite the club’s relegation.

The 22-year-old is currently with Chelsea at the FIFA Club World Cup and is set to start as the Blues take on ES Tunis on Wednesday night.
Nicolas Jackson’s red card against Flamengo will hand Delap a chance as he looks to stake his claim to be Enzo Maresca’s first-choice forward.
Delap has developed a reputation for a full-throttle brand of football. Last season, no Premier League player picked up more yellow cards than Delap (12), while only one committed more fouls (72).
The England u-21 international admits the physical battle is something he enjoys but says he is keen to stay on the ‘right side’ of the edge.
“I love the battles. I always have since I was a kid,” Delap said in an interview with talkSPORT.
“I really love the aggressive side of [the game] and the competitive nature of the squad. It’s got to be controlled at times, but it’s my game ultimately and I enjoy it.
“I think everyone playing football plays close to the edge a little bit. You have to be aggressive and on the front foot all the time.
“I’ve always had that same edge since I was a kid and I’m not going to change the way my mindset is. You’ve just got to make sure you’re on the right side [of it].”
