Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson equalled a Premier League record in Eddie Howe’s side’s convincing 5-0 win at Brighton on Saturday.
The duo each provided an assist for the other as Bournemouth moved up to 12th by thrashing Chris Hughton’s Brighton at the Amex Stadium, with the pair now having combined for 10 goals so far this season.
The figure equals the mark set by Arsenal’s Nicolas Anelka and Dennis Bergkamp in 1998/99, with the combination having played a key role in Bournemouth’s successes this season.
Dan Gosling had opened the scoring for Bournemouth, before Fraser doubled the lead following Wilson’s assist.
Fraser then assisted Welsh international David Brooks for his side’s third, before supplying Wilson to score Bournemouth’s fourth.
Junior Stanislas completed the route for Howe’s side, a win which leaves opponents Brighton just five points clear of the Premier League’s drop zone.
