Liverpool boss Arne Slot says that Arsenal have no weaknesses as the two sides prepare to meet in the Premier League.Â
The Gunners host the Reds at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night as they continue their quest to dethrone the reigning champions.
The north London outfit are on a seven-game winning streak in all competitions and hold a six-point lead at the top of the table ahead of the game.
Arsenal paid highest compliment by Slot ahead of Liverpool clash
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Wednesday, Slot struggled to find a weak point in Mikel Arteta’s side and said they are deserving Premier League leaders.
“Their main strength? Oh, that’s interesting! I guess their main strength is that they have so many strengths. Their main strength is probably that they don’t have anything that is their weakness.
“They hardly concede goals, they can score from open play, they can score from set pieces, they have very good ideas when it comes to the build-up, they can play with long balls as well – they are the complete package.
“For that reason, in my opinion, they deserve to be on top this season.”

Asked what victory would do for the belief within his squad, Slot responded: “It would mean a lot because if you win games like these, it tells you that you can compete in the latter stages of the FA Cup and the Champions League. We’ve shown that we can do this already because we have already beaten Arsenal at home, and I can also come up with many other games that we’ve won against many other strong teams.
“We know that it is going to be a very special game for them as well, so we are going to have to be completely ready for it. They have a very positive vibe around them at the moment, and it is obvious that we aren’t because we conceded another late goal last time out. I do think everyone, me included, is looking forward to this game.”
