Arsenal and Liverpool are going head-to-head in the battle to sign Salford City teenager Will Wright.
The 17-year-old has attracted interest from the Premier League after a prolific season for the League Two side.
Wright scored over 40 goals for Salford City’s youth and reserve sides in 2024/25 and made a handful of appearances for the senior team.
Arsenal and Liverpool are now competing for his signature, according to multiple reports. Each are prepared to pay Salford a fee in excess of £100,000 for Wright.
Arsenal are believed to have submitted the superior offer for the teenager in a bid to beat Liverpool to a deal.
