AC Milan visit Torino in Serie A on Monday, aiming to reclaim top spot in the standings with a win on the road.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side will also be keen to preserve their away record in the league, as they remain the only team yet to suffer an away defeat in Serie A this season.
AC Milan team news
The Rossoneri make the trip to Turin without French midfielder Youssouf Fofana, who is sidelined by an adductor problem. He is joined on the injury list by striker Santiago Gimenez, out with an ankle issue, and young midfielder Zachary Athekame, who continues his recovery from a calf injury, leaving all three unavailable for selection.
Amid those setbacks, Allegri is expected to restore veteran playmaker Luka Modric and leading scorer Christian Pulisic to the starting XI. Both were used sparingly in the midweek Coppa Italia loss to Lazio to keep them fresh for the league.
