AC Milan are reportedly “closing in” on a deal to sign West Ham United striker Niclas Fullkrug on loan in the January transfer window.Â
The Rossoneri are looking to bolster their frontline in an effort to strengthen their Scudetto challenge. They currently sit second in the Serie A table, one point behind rivals Inter Milan after 15 games played.
Fullkrug is available after failing to make an impact since joining the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund for £27 million in the summer of 2024. He has failed to find the net in the top flight this season and has made just five starts.

The Germany international is set to spend the second half of the campaign in Italy as Fabrizio Romano reports that he has agreed to join Milan on a half-season loan when the transfer window re-opens next month.
The “final details are yet to be sorted”, with both clubs “in contact to get deal sealed”. A buy option will be included in the deal, worth around £13 million (€15m).
Milan have a number of former Premier League players in their squad, including Christian Pulisic, Luka Modric, Fikayo Tomori, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, while Christopher Nkunku and Pervis Estupinan are on loan from Chelsea and Brighton respectively.
