Juventus’ summer transfer plans have been dashed as it was confirmed that one of their transfer targets has signed a new long term contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Italian champions are looking for a replacement for Paul Pogba, who is due to complete a World Record transfer to Manchester United, and had been linked with a move for PSG midfielder Marco Veratti.
However those hopes have now been dashed after it was confirmed that the Italian had signed a new four-year deal with the French Champions.
It is the fourth contract extension that the midfielder has signed in four years with the Ligue 1 club since his arrival in 2012.
