Como have made enquiries into the availability of Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah.
The Italian side are looking to reinforce their squad after securing a place in the Champions League for next season. Como exceeded expectations to reach Europe for the first time, securing a top-four finish in Serie A, ahead of AC Milan and Juventus.
Cesc Fabregas is now working to strengthen his squad and the Spaniard is plotting a raid on his former team. Como want to sign Chalobah, though Fabrizio Romano is reporting that a deal will be difficult.
There’s understood to be a ‘big gap’ in the respective valuations at this stage, with Chelsea valuing the academy product highly.
Having looked set for an exit after joining Crystal Palace on loan during the 2024/25 season, Chalobah has become a regular since being recalled from that temporary stint.
He made 34 appearances in the Premier League last season, with 31 from the start, and was a late inclusion in the England squad for this summer’s World Cup.
