Dusan Vlahovic returned from a long injury lay-off a couple of weeks ago, though manager Luciano Spalletti has been straightforward about where the striker stands, saying: “He trained well and is available, but I doubt he’ll be able to start. He could give us a hand.”
Jeremie Boga, who has done well playing as a false nine recently, is likely to start up front instead.
Vasilije Adžic is the only player currently out injured. Weston McKennie and Lloyd Kelly are both one yellow card away from a suspension.
Mattia Perin is set to start in goal, with Kenan Yildiz on the wing. The Turkish winger has had a good season, contributing 16 goals and assists across 29 Serie A appearances, with his goal tally in double figures.
