Borussia Dortmund will host Augsburg in a Bundesliga clash this weekend at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.
Dortmund have enjoyed a strong league campaign so far, suffering only two defeats during the entire Bundesliga season, both of which came against league leaders Bayern Munich. They will now aim to extend their good run of results and strengthen their position near the top of the standings.
After consecutive defeats to Atalanta and Bayern Munich, Dortmund responded well by claiming a 2-1 win over Koln in their previous match. The result highlighted the team’s character and attacking strength, with Serhou Guirassy and Maximilian Beier finding the net to secure the victory.
The win keeps Dortmund second in the Bundesliga table with 55 points from 25 matches, though they remain 11 points behind Bayern Munich.
