The win keeps Dortmund second in the Bundesliga table with 55 points from 25 matches, though they remain 11 points behind Bayern Munich.

Midfielder Emre Can and defender Filippo Mane are currently unavailable due to their respective injuries.
Meanwhile, Carney Chukwuemeka is still recovering from a fitness problem and is expected to be out for a couple more weeks. Ramy Bensebaini will also miss the game as he serves a suspension.
