Atletico are currently fourth in LaLiga with 48 points from 25 games, sitting three points adrift of third-placed Villarreal. They have won three of their last five matches, including a 4-1 midweek victory over Club Brugge that sealed their place in the Champions League last-16, and a 4-2 league win against Espanyol on February 21.
