Liverpool scouting Bournemouth forward ahead of summer move

Liverpool have been scouting the performances of Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi this season with the teenager earning positive reports.

Kroupi Junior joined Bournemouth from Lorient last summer after an impressive campaign for the Ligue 2 side. The 19-year-old was the leading scorer in French football’s second tier in 2024-25 and has adapted well to the demands of the Premier League.

Kroupi Junior has scored eight goals in the Premier League this season, despite starting just 11 league games for the Cherries.

The Frenchman has averaged a Premier League goal every 109 minutes, while his expected goals (xG) over performance of +3.35 is the third-highest in the division, behind Harry Wilson and Morgan Rogers.

His performances have attracted considerable attention, with Chelsea and Liverpool among those keen. LiveScore are reporting that Liverpool have watched Kroupi Junior extensively this season and are considering a summer approach.

The club’s sporting director, Richard Hughes, previously occupied the same role at Bournemouth and signed Milos Kerkez from the South Coast side last summer.
